Learning Through Play, Exploration, and Discovery
Children are developmentally programmed to explore their worlds and learn! As long as they are safe and secure and provided various opportunities; learning and discovery of the world occur. I will provide the learning environment and themed activities including field trips/outings, outdoor play, unstructured play, arts and crafts, circle time, music time,creative movement/active play, group games, reading time, quiet time, and an opportunity for the kids to be kids! There will be a daily focus on helping the children learn letters, numbers, shapes, colors, emotions, love for reading, etc.
The immersion aspect is based on the same principals assuring that play, exploration, and communication occur. My first experience teaching by immersion was in Taiwan, children learn and apply the second language quickly! I also learned my second language by immersion and through that experience I've been able to expand my ability to teach others.
